Product Description

Tianeptine is a potent mood brightener and nootropic, celebrated for its effects on wellbeing and cognition, providing immediate and also long term benefits. Within an hour of use, it provides mental stability and clarity, functioning as a medium duration productivity tool. Additionally, its beneficial effects compound over extended use, resulting in a long-term effect which reduces feelings of stress, sadness and anxiety.

These capsules contain Tianeptine Sulfate, which have substantial advantages over the Sodium form. Tianeptine Sodium is metabolised and excreted extremely quickly, resulting in a very spiky effect profile. The Sulfate form has a much slower rate of absorption and use, allowing for a smooth rise, peak, and ramp down. Given the mood-stabilising advantages of Tianeptine, the Sulfate allows for more finely-tuned adjustments and greater control.

Product Guidelines

Capsules per day: 1 – 2

Effect onset:  45 – 60 minutes

Effect duration: Tianeptine Sulfate is a long-lasting mood booster, with a peak effect duration of 5.5h. Improved mood can last 11h, with some residual benefits reported up to 30 hours later.

Extended use: Safe for daily use. 4 – 6 weeks of use results in a long-term mood-brightening effect. Tolerance is sometimes reported, so if effects subside, taking 1 week off can restore potency.

Usage notes:

  • Day-long effects can be achieved by spreading intake throughout the day.
  • If Tianeptine causes drowsiness, Caffeine or Adrafinil may counteract this.

Alcohol note: It is not advised to consume alcohol while taking Tianeptine, as it may lead to increased liver toxicity and stronger hangovers.

WARNING: Tianeptine may have opiate-like withdrawal symptoms and shows potential for abuse. Ensure that usage is gradually reduced with care, and if ever in doubt, consult a qualified medical professional. If you have ever been addicted to opioids, Tianeptine may have an immediate addictive effect.

WARNING: Do not take Tianeptine if you are currently or have been on MAOIs in the previous 14 days.

Further Information

The mechanism of action is unclear. It is thought that it acts as a selective Serotonin re-uptake enhancer (SSRE) – though this claim is contested. It is currently thought that its effects are mainly achieved via the glutamatergic system, although it also affects other systems.
